Actor Nithiin finally tied the knot with the love of his life, Shalini Kandukuri in Hyderabad on Sunday.
It was a traditional ceremony with only immediate family and close friends of the couple, including Tollywood actors Varun Tej, Sai Dharam Tej and Kartikeya in attendance.
Nithiin and Shalini entered the wedding venue wearing masks and the hosts ensured that all social distancing measures were followed.
With a disinfectant tunnel at the entrance and contactless sanitisers at every step, all necessary precautions were taken to keep the Covid-19 threat at bay.
The decor radiated a classic, romantic and fairytale-ish character with pink, red, white and lavender flowers everywhere blending into the ivory colured backdrop.
Baubles holding roses and lanterns emanating a soft, golden light added to the beauty of it all.
“The guest list was limited to immediate family and very close friends. Actor Pawan Kalyan and director Trivikram, who are both close to Nithiin, had attended the Pellikoduku function on Friday to avoid larger gatherings on the wedding day,” shared a source close to the actor.
Nithiin and Shalini had initially planned to tie the knot at a destination wedding in Dubai but the Covid-19 pandemic had put paid to their plans. On Sunday, however, there were smiles all around.
