Dil Raju is hoping to wrap up Vakeel Saab’s shooting by this year's end, but Pawan Kalyan is in no mood to go to movie sets anytime soon.
He has taken up four-months deeksha and is currently on a strict diet. He will need some time to recover and get back to shape even if the shootings resume.
Hence, Vakeel Saab cannot make it to theaters by Sankranthi 2021. It may go to summer 2021 to cash in on the craze. So, there wouldn’t be any biggies slated for Sankranthi.
Only medium budget movies are eyeing on Sankranthi at the moment. Nithin’s Rang De makers are hopeful of finishing the filming by this year end so that they can release it for Sankranthi 2021.
Akhil’s Most Eligible Bachelor also is eyeing at Sankranthi slot. There is still a bit of shooting left and the producers are hopeful of completing it by then.
Meanwhile, all other movies that are ready for release are eyeing at Dussera release. V, Red, Uppena and Nissabdham are waiting for the theaters to reopen to strike the box office.
