Pathaan becomes highest grossing Bollywood film

Shah Rukh Khan's film "Pathaan" continues to break box office records.

According to Bollywood Hungama, the film is expected to have collected Rs. 384 crore in Hindi and Rs. 398 crore all-India.

It has surpassed Aamir Khan's "Dangal" with a collection of Rs 387 crore and is on track to enter the Rs 400 crore club.

The spy thriller is expected to break "KGF 2's" record in the next five days and challenge "Baahubali 2's" record of Rs 511 crore in Hindi to become the highest-grossing film in Hindi.

"Pathaan" has also performed well overseas, surpassing Rs 725 crore globally. SRK has expressed gratitude for the success of "Pathaan" and for bringing life back to cinemas.

The film's success is even more remarkable as SRK didn't engage in traditional promotions, opting for "Ask SRK" sessions on Twitter instead.
