AHA RELEASES
Kala – June 4
The Malayalam dubbed version of ‘Kala’ starring Tovino Thomas and Sumesh Moor is set to premiere on Aha on June 4. The psychological thriller won mixed reviews, but it has created a lot of buzz on social media recently. It is an intense dark thriller with excessive violence.
Ardha Satabadam – June 11
The Telugu film features budding actors and newcomers in the lead roles. Directed by Ravindra Pulle, the film is a political thriller.
ING – June 18
Comedian Priyadarshi is selecting different kinds of content on the OTT platforms. Contrary to his image, he has played a serious role in ‘ING’, a crime thriller. Suresh Krishna, the filmmaker behind classic hits like Rajinikanth’s ‘Baasha’, has produced it.
Nandini Rai has played a daring role in 'ING: In The Name of God'. The trailer has attracted attention.
One – June 25
‘One' is the Telugu dubbed version of a Malayalam movie by the same name. The political thriller features legendary Malayalam actor Mammootty.
NETFLIX RELEASES
Jagame Thandhiram – June 18
After much dillydallying Dhanush had opted for direct-digital release for his ‘Jagame Thandhiram’. Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, the gangster drama is set in London. Dhanush is playing a Tamilian gangster in England. The trailer is kick-ass.
‘Jagame Thandhiram’ is the only South Indian biggie that is premiering directly on the OTT platform.
AMAZON PRIME Releases
The Family Man 2 – June 4
The most-awaited web series recently ran into controversies. This marks the debut of Samantha Akkineni in a web series. The Family Man 2 will premiere on June 4. Manoj Bajpayee plays the titular character.
Sherni - June End
Vidya Balan starrer ‘Sherni is Amazon original movie. The date has not yet been fixed but it is likely to stream this month. The film has Vidya playing the role of an Indian Forest Service officer.
