Tollywood actor Raj Tarun starrer Orey Bujjiga is all set to drop of the Aha streaming service shortly.
The film’s direct to digital release rights have been bagged by Aha for Rs 3.5 Cr.
Its satellite rights were sold to Zee Telugu for Rs 1.5 Cr. The producer is able to recover the making costs through satellite and digital rights.
Orey Bujjiga is directed by Vijay Kumar Konda of Gunde Jaari Gallantayyinde fame.
The promos of the film were fun and caught the attention of film lovers prior to the lockdown. It was slated for release on March 25 and has been stuck since then as the theaters remained closed from mid-March.
Raj Tarun, who has been running through a lean phase, has pinned many hopes on Orey Bujjiga to revive his career.
If the film manages to impress OTT viewers and critics, Raj Tarun will become busy as many producers are looking to make low budget movies in the wake of the OTT boom.
