The makers of OG have confirmed that the film’s teaser and second single will be released this month, setting the stage for its grand theatrical release on September 25.

On the same date, Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2 was initially announced to hit theaters. However, the team has now gone quiet.
According to our sources, the producers plan to wait at least two more weeks before locking a new release date, ensuring that OG indeed sticks to its schedule. This has put director Boyapati Sreenu and Balakrishna in a holding pattern.
Just last week, the Akhanda 2 team had issued a statement reaffirming a September 25 release, but the latest developments have compelled them to pause promotions.
For Pawan Kalyan, OG is a crucial film. Riding on massive hype, it is expected to deliver record-breaking openings, similar to how Rajinikanth’s Coolie stormed the box office.
The film also carries added weight for the star, especially after Hari Hara Veera Mallu failed to impress and cast doubts over his box-office pull.
