The much-discussed project God of War is finally set to move forward, putting an end to months of speculation.
The film, which was initially planned with Allu Arjun and director Trivikram Srinivas, has now shifted to NTR.
Despite intermittent rumors about Allu Arjun showing renewed interest, the makers have now finalized their plans. An official announcement is expected on May 20, marking NTR’s birthday.
Trivikram will direct the film, which is expected to be mounted as a grand mythological epic.
NTR is likely to portray Lord Murugan, also known as Lord Kartikeya. The project will be produced by S Radhakrishna.
Before taking this film on floors, Trivikram plans to wrap up his ongoing project Adarsha Kutumbam, starring Venkatesh. The shoot is expected to be completed within the next couple of months, followed by its release.
Pre-production work for God of War will begin thereafter, with regular shooting likely to commence in 2027.
