North Buffs Fidaa Over Ravi Teja's Awadhi Slang

A big fan of Big B Amitabh Bachchan, Ravi Teja enjoys a good following in the north as well, with many of his movies dubbed in Hindi.

Tiger Nageswara Rao marks his first Pan India movie and the theatrical trailer of this Vamsee directorial was launched yesterday in a grand way.

North movie buffs became Fidaa over Ravi Teja’s dubbing in Awadhi slang, which was tough to pronounce and the media people discussed the same during the trailer launch event.

Ravi Teja who dubbed for the trailer is also dubbing for his character in Awadhi slang which is extensively spoken in the Awadh region of Eastern Utter Pradesh.

Awadhi is a very rooted dialect, though words are akin to regular Hindi. Ravi Teja mouthed the dialogues with ease and his base voice engrossed the northern audience.

Although Tiger Nageswara Rao is already carrying a good buzz, the trailer raised expectations for the movie in Hindi and other languages.

Moreover, producer Abhishek Agarwal is familiar to the Bollywood audience, given he delivered two back-to-back Pan India blockbusters The Kashmir Files and Karthikeya 2.

The trailer received a massive response and it is trending top on YouTube. For the first time in the country, an Indian sign language trailer was also released.

The movie which stars many noted actors from different languages will hit the screens on the 20th of this month.
