'No Sympathy, I Knew These Cheers Are For Mahesh'

Sudheer Babu’s supernatural fantasy thriller Jatadhara co-starring Sonakshi Sinha in her Telugu debut is set for release on November 7th. The trailer of the movie received tremendous response.

The team celebrated the film’s pre-release event today with director Sailesh Kolanu gracing it as a special guest.

“The title Jatadhara itself is powerful and carries a positive energy. The trailer truly impressed me. It genuinely gave me goosebumps.”

Sudheer Babu turned very emotional during his speech.

“I question myself: who am I? I am Krishna’s son-in-law, Mahesh Babu’s brother-in-law. These are truths I take pride in. When I decided to become an actor, my son was just nine months old. I almost felt like giving up, because the stronger the desire, the greater the responsibility. I’ve attended countless auditions, carrying my action and dance videos, facing repeated rejections. I didn’t have any advantage, but I understood the struggles of this industry and kept moving forward.

I don’t speak for sympathy, but I want love and respect. I know some of the cheers in the audience are for Mahesh Babu, but I also know that somewhere among you, someone is supporting me. I give my all for everyone, but I live and fight for that one person.”

About his film Jatadhara, Sudheer stated, “I played a ghost hunter who doesn’t believe in ghosts but has faith in God. The story is layered, intense, and appeals to both believers and skeptics, with twists and scientific reasoning woven in. The film combines family drama, thrilling sequences, and cinematic grandeur.”

Sudheer Babu heaped praises on his co-stars Sonakshi Sinha and Shilpa Shirodkar for their wonderful performances.
