No OTT, Wait For Theaters To Open: TFC

No OTT, Wait For Theaters To Open: TFC

With the slogan of 'Save Cinema, Save Theaters', Telangana Film Chamber of Commerce once again demanded producers to refrain from releasing the films on OTT at least until October 30th.

"Over the decades, Producers have earned money from theaters. It is disheartening that even big producers who can hold their films are going to OTT. Things are getting bright. Things will be normal very soon. Please wait at least October 30th. If things do not change then your wish," Suniel Narang, the chamber's Hon. Secretary said.

"Producers are suffering I agree but the exhibitors are the worst affected. If you do not heed to our request, we will take our stand. I am a producer myself. We are requesting with folded hands. Save Cinema," he added.

The other members also voiced the same and demanded that films should wait until theaters open.

President Murali Mohan, Vice-President Sridhar, Hon. Secretary Suniel Narang, Abhishek Nama, and other members participated and addressed the media in the pressmeet.
