Soon after the news came out, actress Kasturi Shankar tweeted that surrogacy is banned in India.
She mentioned that we might hear a lot about this in the coming days. Although she didn’t mention Nayanthara’s name, some media outlets published news that she responded to Nayanthara’s surrogacy.
She is also getting trolled for commenting on an actress’s personal choice. Then, Kasturi warned the media not to link her post to Nayanthara’s surrogacy.
She also tagged the Telugu news channel NTV for telecasting malicious reports.
"Any media maliciously publishing articles linking new parents Nayantara and Vignesh Shivan to my post about surrogacy in India will be sued for libel. Consider yourself warned," the actress wrote.
