Malayalam hit Kappela’s remake rights were bought by Sithara Entertainments. Producer Naga Vamsi has been looking for suitable leads to make this remake work with the Telugu audience.
Vishwak Sen has been finalized as one of the leads many days ago and Uppena fame Krithi Shetty is being considered for the female lead.
Many rejected to play the other lead that has grey shades. Finally, Naveen Chandra of Bhanumathi Ramakrishna fame has been zeroed in to play the auto driver character. This film will be directed by a debutant director who was a protégé of Sukumar.
Kappela remake will start rolling from January and release in summer 2021. Other details regarding this much talked about remake will be made official very soon.
