Naidu's Aide Stages Entry Row at CII Summit

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s visit to the annual CII summit in Delhi was largely cordial, with the CM urging industry leaders to invest in Andhra Pradesh.

Highlighting his long-standing association with CII, he even appealed to members to set up at least one factory in the state.

However, the event took an awkward turn when the CM’s influential secretary, Karthikeya Mishra, arrived late and was briefly stopped at the VIP entrance.

Offended, Mishra reportedly lashed out at the security guards using foul language and then refused to enter the venue, instead standing in the parking area under the scorching sun.

Despite repeated apologies from senior CII officials — five of whom tried to pacify him — Mishra did not budge.

While the CM delivered his speech inside, his secretary remained outside, visibly upset. After the session, Mishra finally joined Naidu in the car en route to the airport.
