Shruti Haasan played a crucial role in the upcoming star-studded action extravaganza Coolie, whereas Rajinikanth and Nagarjuna will be seen as the protagonist and antagonist respectively.
The actress says working with Rajinikanth was a blessing. “It’s been a truly great experience. My character in this movie felt very personal, as I connected with it deeply. I’m confident the audience will relate to it too, especially women.”
Shruti affirms that she really enjoyed working with other stars like Nagarjuna and Upendra in the movie. “I’ve worked with many stars before, but this one was truly different. Nagarjuna’s role in the movie is going to be phenomenal. For the first time, he’s playing a villain. His role will be very surprising.”
She calls Lokesh Kanagaraj as a director with a very clear vision. “He knows exactly what he wants, and it’s a joy working with someone like that.”
Shruti Haasan reveals that Coolie is a full-on entertainer. “It has outstanding action and a strong emotional core. Audiences are definitely going to love it.”
The movie produced by Sun Pictures is set for release on August 14th, through Asian Multiplexes Pvt. Ltd. in Telugu states.
