Hyderabad: 'My Home' group is investing big in media and films.
Owned by Rameshwara Rao, My Home group has already ventured into media (TV9 group), OTT platforms (Aha Video) and has been financing movies.
The group has now stepped into film production. Aha Productions will co-produce director Puri Jagannadh’s next film starring Vijay Deverakonda.
“Jana Gana Mana” is the title under consideration for it, which will be launched on 29th March.
The pan-India project will be My Home group’s official entry into film production. They have recently backed films produced by Sithara and Haarika Haasine houses.
It has been Puri Jagannadh’s dream to make “Jana Gana Mana” for a long time. He wrote the story for Mahesh Babu but the superstar backed out for reasons best known to him.
