Minister Gives Strong Warning To Pawan Kalyan

Telangana Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy issued a strong warning to actor and Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan over his recent comments.

It is already known that Pawan Kalyan said Telangana people cast naradishthi on the greenery of the Konaseema region in the times of combined Andhra Pradesh, and that this was why the state was divided into two.

This has caused a big stir, and the controversial statement has hurt many Telanganites, especially politicians.

Responding to what he called “naradishthi remarks,” the Telangana minister of cinematography said Pawan Kalyan had spoken without proper awareness and had insulted the people of Telangana.

He stressed that the government would not stay silent if Telangana’s honour was attacked.

Komatireddy said clearly that unless Pawan Kalyan offers an immediate apology, his films will not be allowed to run in Telangana. He stated that he was making this warning in his capacity as the Cinematography Minister.

According to him, only if Pawan Kalyan apologises will his movies be screened for at least a day or two in the state.

Several Congress ministers have also come down heavily on Pawan Kalyan, criticising his statements and demanding accountability.

The issue has triggered a sharp political reaction in Telangana, with the state government taking a firm stand and asking the actor to retract his remarks.

When asked about Chiranjeevi, Komatireddy replied, "Chiranjeevi is a super human and he is always away from controversies. But Pawan Kalyan, being new to politics talking mindlessly".
