The business deals of Rajamouli’s magnum opus “RRR” are being closed. After selling off the satellite rights, producer Danayya has now stuck gold with the Tamil rights.
Lyca Productions, the leading production house in Kollywood, has snapped the theatrical rights of “RRR” for Tamilnadu.
It has bagged the Tamil version’s rights for a whopping Rs 45 crore.
Lyca found that there is a huge craze around Rajamouli’s movie in Tamilnadu. So, it paid such a huge amount for the Tamil theatrical rights.
Half the amount has already been given to the producer as an advance. This deal will create ripples in the trade circles.
“RRR” stars NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles. The regular shoot is in progress in Hyderabad.
The film is scheduled for simultaneous release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Malayalam on October 13, 2021.
