After making waves with its eccentric title reveal and a riotous teaser that had the social media buzzing, the team of MITHRA MANDALI kickstarted their musical campaign with the grand launch of the first single, “Kattanduko Janaki.”
The much-awaited song was launched today, June 21st, amidst a pulsating crowd of college students at KIMS College, Amalapuram, in the presence of the film’s vibrant cast and crew.
True to the film’s quirky, youthful tone, “Kattanduko Janaki” is a high-energy Gen Z anthem that blends humor, relatability, and a musical punch.
Sung by Rahul Sipligunj, penned by Kasarla Shyam, and composed by the energetic RR Dhruvan, the track is a riot of perspectives where the four actors Priyadarshi, Vishnu Oi, Rag Mayur, Prasad Behara of the film sing out loud about the eccentricities, habits, and chaos of the current generation.
Whether it’s obsession with reels, crooked relationships or gaming addiction, the song’s lyrics perfectly reflect the modern youth’s quirks, while the fathers in the story hilariously express their disapproval, screaming the now-iconic hook line: “Kattanduko Janaki!”
The launch event turned into a celebration, as the energetic student crowd vibed with the song instantly grooving, cheering, and capturing the moment across social media.
MITHRA MANDALI is presented by Bunny Vas under the banner of BV Works, and produced by Sapta Aswa Media Works and Vyra Entertainments.
The film is helmed by director Vijayendar, and features an ensemble of Priyadarshi, Niharika N M, Vishnu Oi, Rag Mayur, Prasad Behara, Vennela Kishore, Satya, VTV Ganesh and others, each bringing their signature comedic energy to the screen.
Backing this chaotic comedy is a technically sharp team, Produced by Kalyan Manthina, Bhanu Pratapa, and Dr. Vijender Reddy Teegala, with Somaraju Penmetsa as the co-producer.
