Hero Karthi's upcoming film Sardar directed by PS Mithran of Abhimanyudu fame is up for Diwali release. Annapurna Studios will be releasing the Telugu version of the movie.
Meanwhile, the team came up with the theatrical trailer of the movie. Karthi plays dual roles as a spy and a police officer. As the visuals hint the story is set in two different timelines.
While probably one part of the movie is set during the 80s, the other part is set in the current time.
A confidential file that has the secrets of the military goes missing and CBI, RAW, and other agencies are after it.
The spy is a patriot who goes to any length to save his country, whereas the police officer is a show-off person who always tries to grab the attraction of the media.
There seems to be some connection between these two characters. The trailer also shows other characters such as Raashi Khanna, Rajisha Vijayan, Laila, etc.
The line, “Once a spy, always a spy,” gives perfect elevations to Karthi’s character who is simply astonishing as a spy and he looks super cool as the police officer.
The trailer promises Sardar is going to be a gripping spy thriller with breathtaking stunts. The visuals look grand, whereas GV Prakash Kumar’s BGM is a big asset.
The movie produced by S Lakshman Kumar is slated for release on the 21st of this month.
