The buzz around Nitesh Tiwari’s epic film Ramayana continues to grow, and the latest addition to the star-studded cast is actress Kajal Aggarwal.
As per reports, Kajal will play Mandodari, Raavan’s wife, opposite Yash.
The film already features Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Raavan, and Sunny Deol as Hanuman, making it one of the most anticipated films of the year.
A source revealed that Kajal recently completed her look test and has begun shooting for scenes set in Raavan’s Lanka.
Earlier, actress Sakshi Tanwar was rumored to play the role, but Kajal now appears to be the final choice. An official confirmation from the filmmakers is still awaited.
Ramayana will be released in two parts — Part 1 on Diwali 2026 and Part 2 in 2027.
The cast also includes Ravi Dubey as Laxman and Lara Dutta as Kaikeyi, adding to the excitement.
