I Want Credit, Not Money: Srimanthudu 'Writer'

After the Supreme Court affirmed the lower court's decision, writer Sarath Chandra expressed in media interviews his desire to be officially recognized as the author of "Srimanthudu." He seeks proper credit for his contribution.

"I declined the promised Rs 12 lakh compensation long ago. What I need is due acknowledgment as the writer. Several sequences were adapted from my novel 'Chachentha Prema,'" stated Sarath Chandra.

"I have been asserting this, and now it stands validated," he added.

Meanwhile, Koratala Siva's team issued a statement urging the media to exhibit "patience and trust in the legal process, respecting the principles of fairness and integrity."

Koratala Siva maintains that the central theme of "Srimanthudu" revolves around village adoption, emphasizing that the novel and the film present distinct narratives.
