HHVM's Losses Will Not Affect Pawan's OG!

HHVM's Losses Will Not Affect Pawan's OG!

It is now evident that the distributors of Hari Hara Veera Mallu (HHVM) are facing significant losses, with many expected to recover only half of their investments.

While distributors in the Andhra region may see relatively smaller losses, the situation looks bleak for those in Telangana, the Ceded region, and overseas markets. Losses appear to be inevitable.

In the film industry, it's common for a producer’s next film to compensate distributors for losses incurred in a previous venture.

However, HHVM producer A. M. Rathnam has no upcoming releases to provide such a cushion. His recent films have also underperformed at the box office, further weakening his position.

To facilitate HHVM’s release, producers like TG Vishwa Prasad (People Media Factory) and Naveen & Ravi (Mythri Movie Makers) stepped in to support Rathnam financially. Despite their efforts, distributor losses have remained substantial.

This raises the question: will these losses spill over to OG, Pawan Kalyan’s next big project?

According to sources, OG producer DVV Danayya is not entertaining such proposals.

Known for working exclusively with his trusted network of distributors, Danayya has a strong track record of successful releases, including RRR and Saripodhaa Sanivaaram. He is determined not to allow any external interference in OG’s release process.

Danayya is moving full steam ahead with OG’s promotional campaign, aiming for a grand release on September 25, 2025.
