Tamil television actress Manya Anand has accused hero Dhanush's manager Sreyas of demanding sexual favours in exchange for a role in a new film produced by Dhanush's company, Wunderbar Films.
In a viral interview, Manya revealed that Sreyas contacted her with details of the project and clearly said she had to "commit" or make "adjustments".
When she questioned and refused, he pressured her by asking, "You won't do it even if it's for Dhanush sir himself?" Despite her clear no, he kept sending the script and the office location.
Manya refused to even read the script, saying artists should get work based on talent alone, not by compromising their dignity.
She added that another manager from the same team made the exact same demand. The actress urged others to recognise and stop this casting couch pattern.
As of now, neither Dhanush nor Sreyas has responded to the serious allegations.
