Shreyas Group launched the world's first online theatre - Shreyas ET on Friday, marking the release of Ram Gopal Varma's Climax starring Mia Malkova on the ATT platform (Any Time Theater).
They prepared for a server capacity of 50,000 logins, but within a span of a few hours, the app saw more than 2,75,000 logins leading to Shreyas ET crashing for two hours. Despite that, it has created a record of 1,68,596 views on the first day of the launch of Shreyas ET.
"This is a sign that we are successful introducing the concept of Online Theatre, for the first time in the World; that too to our Telugu people. This is just the beginning. There is more entertainment coming your way," stated Shreyas Srinivas.
Shreyas ET is a platform with a pay per view model managed by producers who will call the shots on release and removal of a film in the platform.
For subscription, you need not to pay anything. Subscribers need to pay for the content that they want to watch on the app.
