The teaser of director Prashanth Varma’s original superhero film Hanu-Man starring Teja Sajja is out now.
The teaser isn’t just meant to introduce all the lead characters, but it is destined to tease us with the never-seen-before kind of visuals incorporated in it.
Lord Hanuma’s enormous statue on the waterfall, and then the frozen Lord Hanuma practicing Tapas and chanting Ram… Ram… gives a perfect start and end to the magnum opus.
In between, we get to see the world of Anjanadri and the rise of Hanu-Man, when evil suffers the innocent with its barbarous acts. The battle between good and evil forms the crux of the story.
Teja Sajja breathed life into the character of Hanumanthu. He played the role with so much conviction and emotion. The sequences of him standing on top of a hill while an airplane approaches him, and the way he jumps to the sky with a mace in hand give superb elevations to the character.
Amritha Aiyer looked stunning. Vinay Rai is the badass evil man in the story and he seems to have created special powers for himself using the technology. He is frightening and fits the bill aptly. Varalaxmi Sarath is introduced through an action episode.
What makes it unique from other superhero films is the spiritual touch with Hanumanthu getting all the superpowers of Lord Hanuma, ensuing a great battle.
There are no words to describe the visual spectacle in the teaser. Prashanth Varma who created this beautiful world takes us on a mystical journey. Kudos to his vision and executing it impeccably.
The visual effects and the art department have given an overwhelming impact, whereas Shivendra’s camera work and Gowrahari’s re-recording work add great value to the narrative.

A magnum opus is what the teaser promises about the movie. If the teaser alone creates a such huge impact, we can assume the kind of experience we are going to have in cinemas, when we watch the full movie.
