Sithara Entertainments is producing a film with Akhil Akkineni in the lead. Initially, Sreeleela was signed as the female lead.
However, due to scheduling issues and her inability to allocate dates properly, the makers reportedly decided to replace her. Once news of her exit surfaced, a new lead actress was quickly finalized.
That opportunity has now gone to Bhagyasree. Replacing Sreeleela, she will now star opposite Akhil in the upcoming film — news that has delighted Akhil’s fans.
Many believe Bhagyasree is a better fit, as Sreeleela has already done several films but delivered relatively few hits. Additionally, she no longer has the “fresh face” appeal.
Bhagyasree, on the other hand, has only appeared in one film so far. By the time Akhil’s film releases, she’ll have two more in her filmography, which fans believe makes her an exciting and promising choice.
