The much awaited first look poster of Nani and Rahul Sankrityan’s crazy project Shyam Singha Roy is here.
Released as Nani’s birthday special, the poster presents Nani in a never seen before avatar.
The title indicates that Shyam Singha Roy story is set in Kolkata backdrop and Nani’s first look in the film concludes that he plays a Bengali.
It’s clearly evident through the poster that Nani underwent a complete makeover for the film, building muscles and shaping up a bulk physique.
He looks seamlessly like a Bengali with the passé hairdo and handlebar mustache. Even Nani’s dressing is also a typical Bengali style. There is hint of pridefulness in Nani’s face as a gorgeous girl hugs him from behind.
Since it’s Nani’s birthday special, we don’t get to see any other faces in the poster.
Every announcement regarding Shyam Singha Roy was made through typewriter and there’s a valid reason behind it.
As we can see in the back of Nani, there’s a typewriter and also Royal Press building. Kolkata culture is also established with a rickshaw in the background.
Shyam Singha Roy indeed is the most expensive film of the actor made with high technical values and on uncompromised budget.
Nani got a meaty role and we can expect career best performance from him. Sai Pallavi, Krithi Shetty and Madonna Sebastian play leading ladies in the period action drama produced by Venkat Boyanapalli under Niharika Entertainment.
