Active Producers' Guild is a group that was formed as the brain child of Dil Raju and Allu Aravind.
The major intentions of this Guild are:
- to reduce the remuneration of all technicians excepting that of heroes.
- to cut down the advertisement costs and control the media
- to form a media syndicate and control the news and reviews.
But nothing of the above worked so far. Though there are many active members in this group like Supriya, Anil Sunkara etc., the main decisions and ideas come from Dil Raju.
The guild couldn't fulfil the mission but brought some negative image to Dil aju. There is a big allegation on him that he is suppressing other distributors by keeping the producers and theatres in control. Dil Raju made some enemies by heading this guild.
It seems that Dil Raju has lamented in the presence of some of his friends that he wanted to do something good for the producers but couldn't think about the genesis of enemies from other quarters.
In fact it is better for Dil Raju to focus on his films than wasting time on these business politics, say insiders.
