Telugu film icons Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna met Hyderabad Commissioner VC Sajjanar in person, to commend the Police Department for their critical action against movie piracy.
Their visit followed the arrest of Inmadi Ravi, the owner of the piracy website Ibomma.
Chiranjeevi expressed satisfaction that the Police had "acted smartly to end the network of a dangerous person," noting how piracy has severely damaged the film industry and normalized illegal viewing.
Nagarjuna offered a vote of thanks, appreciating the Hyderabad Police for "swiftly catching the culprit."
He stated their visit was a show of appreciation from the entire Telugu and Indian Cinema community for the commendable efforts of Sajjanar and his team.
Both stars stressed the necessity of watching films exclusively in theaters to combat piracy.
