What was meant to be a casual evening outing turned chaotic for Allu Arjun and his wife Sneha Reddy when the couple was mobbed by fans in Hyderabad.
In visuals that have gone viral on social media, the Pushpa star and Sneha are seen stepping out of a venue and getting surrounded by a large crowd. The sudden rush left the couple visibly uncomfortable.
Allu Arjun is seen holding his wife’s hand tightly and guiding her towards their car as fans gathered in huge numbers. Despite security presence, the crowd closed in, forcing the actor to repeatedly request fans to step back.
The video also shows a worried Allu Arjun helping Sneha safely get into the car. Before leaving, the actor briefly acknowledged the fans with folded hands and a wave.
The incident comes just days after similar crowd-related situations involving actors Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Nidhhi Agerwal.
Nidhhi was reportedly mobbed while exiting the venue after The Raja Saab song launch event at Lulu Mall in Kukatpally. She was pushed by fans, causing visible distress.
Following the incident, the Cyberabad Police registered a suo motu case against the event organisers.
Videos from the event showed Nidhhi struggling to reach her vehicle as the crowd pressed in around her, raising serious concerns about safety at public gatherings. Samantha Ruth Prabhu also faced a chaotic crowd at another event shortly after.
For Allu Arjun, this incident comes amid ongoing controversy linked to the stampede during the pre-release event of Pushpa 2: The Rule.
The tragic incident occurred on December 4, 2024, at Sandhya 70mm Theatre in RTC X Roads, resulting in the death of a woman named Revathi.
The chargesheet in the case names Allu Arjun along with theatre partners, managers, event organisers, personal security guards, bouncers, and members associated with the actor’s team and fan associations.
