The buzz around Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge is growing stronger by the day. Soon after the teaser dropped, news emerged that the makers have sealed a big music rights deal with T-Series for a whopping ₹27 crore.
Starring Ranveer Singh, Dhurandhar released in December 2025 and went on to dominate the box office.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the spy-action thriller became the highest-grossing Hindi film worldwide, featuring a strong ensemble cast including Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and R Madhavan.
While Saregama held the music rights for the first part, the sequel has now moved to T-Series.
According to industry sources, T-Series has acquired the all-language music rights for ₹27 crore, making it one of the biggest music deals in recent Bollywood history.
Trade circles see such high-value music deals as a strong sign of confidence even before release. With franchise value, massive pre-release hype, and a top music label on board, Dhurandhar 2 is being viewed as a sure-shot big-ticket release.
The sequel continues the story with several actors reprising their roles, including Ranveer Singh, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, and R Madhavan.
The film is produced by Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar, and Lokesh Dhar under Jio Studios and B62 Studios.
Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge is scheduled for a theatrical release on March 19, 2026.
