Check starring Nithin and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles has been under production for a long time now. The thriller directed by Chandrasekhar Yeleti made news with the launch of its first glimpse.
The concept of the film looked interesting, but the teaser cut seems to be a hurried one with some random shots stitched together. It was clearly a hurried decision as there was no pre release hungama before it was released.
With Nithin's Rang De getting pushed to March 26, the makers of Check are seeing this as an opportunity to release their film ahead of it.
If the buzz is to be believed, Check may skip theatrical release and opt for OTT release if they get a lucrative offer.
Given Yeleti's track record, an OTT release seems to be the best option for Check.
