Bimbisara starring Nandamuri Kalyan Ram in the titular role, was a blockbuster at the box office.
The socio-fantasy film won the hearts of the Telugu audience and also gave Tollywood its bright colours back by ending the dead drain of the theatrical business. It created a sensation at box office and on OTT too.
Now the film started its award hunt. The hosted the 25th Ugadi awards ceremony on Wednesday in Chennai. Lot of celebrities attended the event. Nandamuri Kalyan Ram who is currently busy with Devil shoot, attended the event.
The actor received the award for best actor for his royal portrayal in Bimbisara, and the film was received best film award. Kalyan Ram looked very happy while receiving the award.
He is so proud that the experiments and efforts of whole team worked out very well. Bimbisara impressed all types of audiences and giving them the best cinematic experience.
Directed by debutant Mallidi Vashishta, the film stars Catherine and Samyukta Menon in lead roles. Bimbisara has the cinematography by Chota K Naidu and background score by MM Keeravani.
