The Indian theatrical business is yet to open up. Many states have not yet lifted the restrictions on theaters.
But the Telugu film industry is gearing up for new releases in theaters starting this weekend.
The theaters in Telangana state will be operational fully from July 30th. A limited number of single screens are allowed in Andhra Pradesh. But five films have announced their release dates for this weekend.
Satyadev and Priyanka Jawalkar starred in a thriller titled “Thimmarusu”, which hits the screens on 30th July.
‘Zombie Reddy’ fame Teja Sajja and ‘Wink Girl’ Priya Prakash starrer "Ishq Not A Love Story" is also releasing on the same day. These two are notable films.
The other films that have lined up are “Narasimha Puram”, “Trayam” and “Parigettu Parigettu”.
The trade bodies and the industry are closely monitoring these films to gauge the mood of the audiences.
