The makers of Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati starrer “Bheemla Nayak” have been releasing promotional content.
Video teasers each depicting Pawan Kalyan’s character and Rana’s characterization were released recently. The title song “Bheemla Nayak” also came out.
The makers have announced January 12, 2022 as its release date and the shooting is in progress accordingly. But the latest discussion in the film industry is that the makers have also initiated talks with OTT platforms.
They have asking prices for both options - Direct-digital release and regular digital rights from these OTT players.
It gives an impression that the makers are also toying with the idea of releasing it directly on OTT if the price offered is tempting. Or do the makers see any problem with a theatrical release due to the current political controversy? Or do they feel the content will better strike a chord with the OTT viewers like “Tuck Jagadish” did?
The film is a remake of the Malayalam blockbuster “Ayyapanum Koshiyum”. Directed by Saagar Chandra, “Bheemla Nayak” is Sithara Entertainments’ production.
