After the disappointing performance of Mass Jathara, Ravi Teja shifted his focus to a family-oriented drama, Bhartha Mahasayulaku Vignyapthi.
Given its genre, the team initially targeted a Sankranthi 2026 release, a festival season ideal for family entertainers. Ravi Teja was reportedly keen on locking the holiday date early.
However, with both Prabhas’ The Raja Saab and Chiranjeevi’s Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu now confirmed for Sankranthi without any postponement, the competition has become too intense.
Securing a sufficient number of theatres would be a major challenge, prompting producer Sudhakar Cherukuri to explore alternative release windows.
February 2026 has emerged as a strong option, as only Nikhil Siddharth’s Swayambhu is currently scheduled for that month, leaving the rest of the slate clear.
Discussions are ongoing, and an official decision from Ravi Teja and Sudhakar Cherukuri is expected soon.
Directed by Kishore Tirumala, the film features Ashika Ranganath and Dimple Hayathi alongside Ravi Teja.
