Bharateeyudu 2 First Single: Heavy And Not Hitting

The first single, "Souraa..." from Bharateeyudu 2 is out. It marks Kamal Haasan's comeback as Senapathy after 28 years on screen.

The lyrics are penned by Suddala Ashok Teja, while the music is composed by Anirudh. The song is sung by Ritesh G Rao and Shruthika Samudhrala.

The lyrics are heavy and complicated in the beginning, and the wrong cutting of lyrics in lyrical video adds to the confusion.

The hook with sense and sensibility in the lyrics starts from 'bhoo thallipai ottey...', to an extent.

Overall, the entire lyrics sound like forced dubbed lyrics with no natural flow of expression and nativity.

The music is average with no surprises. Overall, it is cacophonous.

The singers did their part but couldn't elevate the listening experience to any significant level.

Joining Kamal Haasan in this cinematic spectacle is a stellar cast that includes Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Siddharth, Vivek, and Brahmanandam, adding diverse layers of talent to the project.

Rakul Preet Singh appears in a powerful avatar as she takes on the role of an IPS officer in "Bharateeyudu 2."

While her presence is captivating, it is worth noting that her character appears in the second half of the film for a limited duration, adding an intriguing twist to the narrative.

Produced by Lyca Productions, "Bharateeyudu 2" is all set to release on July 12th, promising an enthralling pan-India experience.

Director Shankar needs to come up with something more interesting and gripping to meet the expectations of the audience for this project.
