The first look of Bhakasaura Restaurant has sparked curiosity among the public.
Recently, a piece of news went viral on social media claiming that well-known comedian and actor Praveen was launching a restaurant named Bhakasaura.
This led to speculation about why the busy actor would step into the restaurant business.
However, the truth behind the buzz has now been revealed: Bhakasaura Restaurant is not a real eatery — it’s the title of a new film in which Praveen plays the lead role.
The film’s first look was officially released on Friday. In the poster, Praveen is seen cooking with an oversized ladle, surrounded by other quirky characters in the background.
Notably, actors Viva Harsha and Shining Phani appear in eccentric roles, one of which is labeled “Something Special.”
Praveen, known for his standout performances in numerous successful films, plays the central character in this project.
Viva Harsha takes on the title role, while Krishna Bhagavan, Shining Phani, and KGF’s Garuda Ram appear in key roles.
The film marks the directorial debut of SJ Shiva and is produced by Lakshmaiah Achari and Janardhan Achari under the SJ Movies banner.
With filming now complete, the movie is ready for release. As part of its promotional campaign, the makers have unveiled the first-look poster to generate buzz.
Speaking on the occasion, director SJ Shiva described the film as a “hunger comedy entertainer” filled with humor and thrills.
He said the movie is designed to appeal to a wide audience, especially today’s youth, and showcases a fresh side of Praveen’s acting talent.
Shiva expressed confidence that the film would leave a lasting mark on Praveen’s career and be appreciated by viewers looking for something unique.
The cast includes Praveen, Viva Harsha, Shining Phani (a.k.a. Bumchik Bunty), KGF Garuda Ram, Krishna Bhagavan, and Srikant Iyengar.
Music is composed by Vikas Badisa, with Vinay Kotti serving as executive producer.
