'Baahubali:The Epic' - Same Ticket Price, Shocking Screen Count

"Baahubali:The Epic" is gearing up for release on October 31, with a massive runtime of 3 hours and 46 minutes.

Though audiences have already watched the two parts multiple times over the years, there’s renewed curiosity surrounding this single-cut version.

The makers have upgraded the visual effects, and interestingly, a scene that was earlier censored in the original version has now been added.

It’s unclear which scene it is, but that addition is expected to be one of the highlights of this “epic” edition.

Reports suggest that the famous Kattappa killing Baahubali scene now appears right before the interval. Many of Tamannaah’s portions have been trimmed, and the songs have been kept selectively.

Around Rs 10–15 crore has reportedly been spent on upgrading the film’s technical aspects to match modern standards.

The surprising part is that no hike in ticket prices has been requested anywhere. All theatres will sell tickets at the regular base price. Instead, the focus is on releasing the film in as many screens as possible.

The biggest shocker is that in the USA alone, around 100 IMAX screens are being targeted for the release, an extraordinary number, considering that even major Indian blockbusters rarely get more than 5 to 15 IMAX screens. A hundred IMAX releases is truly no small feat!
