Speculations have been rife that the upcoming release of Baahubali Epic; a condensed version of “Baahubali: The Beginning” and “Baahubali: The Conclusion”; would coincide with the announcement of “Baahubali 3.”
Some social media pages even claimed that the end credits of “Baahubali Epic” would include a teaser for the third installment.
However, the producers have dismissed all such rumors, clarifying that no announcement related to “Baahubali 3” is planned. The much-anticipated sequel is unlikely to materialize in the near future.
For “Baahubali 3” to happen, Prabhas would need to wrap up his current lineup and dedicate nearly two full years exclusively to Rajamouli; a commitment that seems impossible at present.
The actor already has multiple big-budget projects lined up, including Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit, Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2, and Prashanth Neel’s Salaar 2.
Additionally, Prashanth Varma’s mythological film is also in advanced pre-production stages.
Given these commitments, Prabhas simply cannot allocate two continuous years for another massive project.
Unless Rajamouli decides to wait a few more years or approaches Baahubali 3 differently; the long-awaited sequel will remain a distant dream for now.
