Anupama's Bhogi 1st Look: Rustic & Resilient

Anupama's Bhogi 1st Look: Rustic & Resilient

Charming star Sharwa has teamed up with director Sampath Nandi for the first time for the pan-India period action drama Bhogi.

Mounted on a massive scale by KK Radhamohan under the Sri Sathya Sai Arts banner, the recently released first-look poster generated strong buzz and received an impressive response.

The team has now unveiled Anupama Parameswaran’s portrayal of Kandula Sulochana Rani.

Anupama’s first-look presents her as a village woman deeply rooted in soil and struggle, walking barefoot along a dusty path, balancing a basket of Moduga leaves on her head, holding a rustic tiffin box in one hand and a bundle of foliage in the other.

Draped in a half-saree, she wears an unwavering gaze that reflects grit shaped by life’s everyday battles. Behind her stretches a rugged countryside of mud-walled huts, cattle, and wooden fences, completing an unfiltered portrait of rural life.

Sulochana stands as the heartbeat of the story’s landscape. Anupama has meticulously absorbed the character’s dialect, body language, and emotional rhythm, making Sulochana feel authentic and lived-in.

After completing heavy-duty action sequences in Rajamahendravaram, Rampachodavaram, and the dense forests of Maredumilli, the team is now gearing up for its next shooting schedule in Hyderabad, beginning in early May.

Dimple Hayathi plays the other female lead in the film, which is set to hit theatres on August 28, coinciding with Raksha Bandhan.
