'Animal' Sets New Record After 53 Years?

Ranbir Kapoor's upcoming film, "Animal," is generating a lot of buzz a month before its release, and various rumors and speculations about the movie are circulating. One intriguing rumor suggests that the film will have two intervals.

The reason behind this unusual decision appears to be the film's lengthy runtime. A screenshot from a ticket-booking app went viral, indicating a runtime of 3 hours and 10 minutes.

Another report claimed the film's actual duration is 3 hours and 18 minutes. In an era where films tend to be shorter, such a lengthy runtime has sparked discussions on social media.

There was a practical debate about the necessity of two intervals due to the audience's unfamiliarity with such lengthy films. Even with two breaks, "Animal" would need an incredibly gripping storyline to keep the audience engaged for almost 200 minutes.

However, it appears that the excitement about the film's length might be based on a hoax created by some fans to generate buzz around "Animal."

Booking websites currently do not mention the runtime, indicating that the viral image is likely fake. IMDb suggests a runtime of 2 hours and 26 minutes for the film.

For those unfamiliar, "Animal," featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, and others, is a gangster drama centered around a father-son story. The film is set to release on December 1 and is expected to clash with Vicky Kaushal’s "Sam Bahadur."

Raj Kapoor's "Mera Naam Joker," released in 1970, was famous for its long duration and two intervals. After 53 years, "Animal" seems to be setting a record with a two-interval film.
