Ananthika Declined Remuneration For 8 Vasantalu

Ananthika Declined Remuneration For 8 Vasantalu

She is just 17 years old girl, yet she chose to play a very matured role. We are talking about Ananthika Sanilkumar who made her debut in Telugu with the blockbuster MAD and is awaiting the release of 8 Vasantalu releasing in a couple of days on June 20th.

Ananthika, during the pre-release event of the movie, thanked director Phanindra Narsetti for his trust that she could pull of the powerful role of Ayodhya.

“I never imagined I’d play a character like Shuddhi who is a strong, layered role. Other than love, it has action, and heartfelt emotions as well. I’m honored to work under a banner as big as Mythri Movie Makers. Despite having many options, they believed in me for this role.”

Director Phanindra Narsetti made an interesting revelation that one shouldn’t miss the opening scene, as the story plays in reverse. He also spoke highly of his actress and the banner.

“If you have a good story, you can find your way into Mythri Movie Makers. They’ve given opportunities to so many newcomers, which is far more valuable than money.

Ananthika initially declined to take remuneration. For a 17-year-old to know the value of money and still choose not to take it, that’s commendable. She’s a phenomenal performer and has portrayed Shuddhi Ayodhya brilliantly.”

Producer Naveen Yerneni stated that they were drawn to its story and took it on with conviction. The other producer Ravi Shankar called Ananthika and Phani as the pillars of the movie.

“This film is stunning visually and Phani has conveyed deeply emotional content. Ananthika worked very hard. We searched all over India for someone skilled in both classical dance and martial arts and found only one person, and that is Ananthika. This film is about a girl’s journey, a portrayal of eight springs in her life.”

The event was also attended by directors Nandini Reddy and Neeraja Kona.
