Anam fears his rivals within YSRC may kill him

Having made up his mind to get out of the YSR Congress party, former minister and Venkatagiri MLA Anam Ramanarayana Reddy has started making wild allegations against his own party leaders in Nellore district.

On Tuesday, Anam alleged that some leaders within the party were trying to eliminate him.

“The government had reduced his security cover and might even remove the entire security. It is a clear case of a conspiracy by the ruling party leaders in the district,” he said.

He said his phone has been under tapping for the last two years.

“My movements are being constantly watched and my mobile phone is under surveillance. I am forced to talk to even my family members on WhatsApp. Who should I complain when my own party leaders are tapping my calls,” he asked.

Stating that there is a political uncertainty in Venkatagiri constituency, Anam said some extra-constitutional forces were ruling the roost in the constituency.

“My political future is not dependant on any single person. I have my own credibility,” he said.

Giving a clear hint that he might shift the loyalties to the TDP sooner or later, the former minister said the people were comparing the administration of previous TDP government with that of YSRC government.

“There is still a lot of time for the elections. But the people have already made up their mind. I am watching everything and shall take a call depending on the situation,” he asserted.
