Allu Arjun '42 Rules' Row: Strategist Withdraws Claim, Issues Apology

Brand strategist Kaveri Baruah has formally withdrawn her claim about alleged protocols for meeting Allu Arjun, saying she “sincerely regrets” the remarks and acknowledging they were incorrect.

The controversy began after Baruah, speaking on the Sweekriti Talks podcast, said she had been given a document listing “42 dos and don’ts” by the actor’s team ahead of an interaction.

The comment went viral, triggering widespread debate about celebrity protocols and management practices.

Allu Arjun’s team swiftly denied the allegation, stating that no such document existed and calling the claims baseless.

As scrutiny intensified, Baruah issued a public clarification, saying her comments were made in the flow of conversation and should not have been presented as facts.

She added that no verified document was shared with her and that she withdraws the remarks entirely, expressing respect for the actor and regret for any reputational harm caused.

The podcaster, Sweekriti, also apologised and confirmed that both the full episode and the clip containing the remarks were taken down.

She said the discussion was intended to be educational but acknowledged the controversy it sparked.

Following the episode’s circulation, Allu Arjun’s team reiterated their position, stating that the allegations were untrue and announcing legal action to curb the spread of unverified information.

On the work front, Allu Arjun is set to star alongside Deepika Padukone in Atlee’s upcoming film.
