Akhanda 2 is the big film arriving on December 5. Sources say that the remunerations alone have touched Rs 100 crore for this film.
It was already reported that Boyapati Srinivas received Rs 35 crore for directing it. Coming to Balakrishna, he has taken the highest-ever remuneration of Rs 40 crore.
The heroine, character artistes, technicians, and other salaries together amount to Rs 25 crore, according to sources.
Adding to this, the film also includes extensive CG work, which required a significant budget. Overall, the project is estimated to be a Rs 200 crore film.
Coming to the business side, the worldwide theatrical business closed at Rs 120 crore, while the non-theatrical rights are almost finalized, though the figure hasn’t been officially revealed yet.
The Hindi market is separate and still open.
