Telugu actors have been trying to get a foothold in Tamilnadu market for a longtime. Recently Mahesh Babu made a costly attempt with Spyder to expand his business in Tamil market.
However, the film turned out to be a disaster in spite of having ‘bankable’ Murugadoss at the helm.
Allu Arjun, who has a very good market in all the Southern states except Tamilnadu, is looking forward to conquer the Kollywood market.
His first bilingual with director Lingusamy was announced long back, but it is yet to hit the floors. There were speculations about this project being called off, but the latest reports confirm that it is very much on.
Bunny’s bilingual will start rolling from next summer after the actor is done with his current project Naa Peru Surya directed by Vakkantam Vamsi.
Director N. Lingusamy is currently busy with the sequel of Sandakozhi (Pandem Kodi) with Vishal. His film with Allu Arjun will be an out and out commercial entertainer with lots of heavy duty action.
Can Allu Arjun do what Mahesh and others couldn’t until now?
