Tollywood grapevine is abuzz with the rumors that Mahesh Babu’s upcoming political drama Bharat Ane Nenu with Koratala Shiva is also inspired from famous French film Largo Winch.
Recent disaster Agnyaathavaasi storyline and a couple of scenes were blatantly lifted from the same film and the director of Largo Winch is hell bent on taking legal action against team Agnyathavasi.
As per grapevine, Bharat Ane Nenu is about the heir apparent avenging the death of his father.
While Agnyathavasi was set in the corporate world, BAN is set in a political backdrop, but the main theme of the film is the same.
Koratala Siva, editor Srikar Prasad and the team of writers are reportedly busy in eliminating any such similarities to give it a fresh appeal.
However, there wouldn’t be any delay in the release plans of Bharat Ane Nenu despite the changes. It is on course for April end/early May release.
BAN is riding on high expectations and is the biggest Tollywood film in terms of pre release business among the summer films.
