There was an uproar recently when Nandamuri Balakrishna raised a concern in the Assembly, stating that his name had been included in the list of film celebrities on an invitation related to APFTDC, but in the ninth position.
Balakrishna reportedly took this as an insult and asked who had written his name in that spot.
The matter later sparked several trolls and discussions on social media, and that is a different story.
Upon enquiry, it was revealed that the name in the ninth position was written by someone associated with a popular film banner.
When the Chief Minister asked the Cinematography Minister and his team to prepare the list, the responsibility eventually went to this person in film industry.
He claimed that he did not intentionally place Balakrishna’s name ninth, but he only remembered Balakrishna after listing eight other names from the top.
Once Balakrishna learned who had done it, he reportedly called the person to express his anger.
It seems Balakrishna asked how his name could be placed in the ninth position, despite the fact that he had attended one of that person's family functions. We can imagine Balakrishna's language on that phone call.
Well, the individual is known in the industry by the initials MMC, although this is not his official name.
