Too Many Tensions Around 'Guntur Kaaram'

Too Many Tensions Around 'Guntur Kaaram'

The film "Guntur Kaaram" has been generating substantial buzz, with its digital rights alone being sold to Netflix for a whopping 80 crores.

When additional rights are factored in, it sets a new career high for Mahesh's film in terms of non-theatrical rights.

All of this points towards positive aspects for the movie. However, there are certain challenges associated with this project.

Firstly, the fight masters had to be replaced right at the beginning, leading to the postponement of the fight sequences.

Following that, the script had to undergo changes, leading to a fresh start with a new script.

As a result of these issues, the release date had to be rescheduled.

Reports also suggest that the director himself expressed dissatisfaction with a particular shopping mall scene and removed it to reshoot again. The truth of the matter should be known only by the director.

Meanwhile, the lead actress, Pooja Hegde, was replaced, and Sreeleela and Meenakshi were chosen as the new main and second leads, respectively.

Just when things seemed to be settling down, the cinematographer PS Vinod decided to step down due to personal reasons.

Ravi K Chandran's name is being considered as his replacement, but he is currently busy with Pawan Kalyan's film "OG".

In the midst of all this, music director Thaman's involvement in the film remains indecisive, as there are rumors that Wahib, known for Vijay Devarakonda's 'Khushi', might be brought on board.

These developments have become the subject of jokes among netizens, while fans express their grief over the various challenges faced by the film.
